Comments on the Cybertruck

Reaction Post

Tesla’s Cybertruck received so much negativity for its design, but is becoming a huge success on sales. People seem to bring down the product with memes, but the memes actually give it more recognition and make it much more popular than it is. Many people called it ugly for the way that it is structured, but in my opinion it is a lot different from other cars. The Cybertruck is the kind of product that you may dislike at first, but will eventually start to grow on you after a while.

Social media seems to be paying attention more on the window shattering rather than the actual product itself. To continue, many people could not believe that the unveiling would take a major turn and were surprised. But in my opinion, if this were to not happen Telsa would have less sales than what they have at the moment. Just like any other product, people may dislike the design but will continue to use it. An example would be the iPhone 11 X Mac Pro. Many people disliked how it looked with a third camera, but they got used to the design.

For me, it does not matter how a product looks and would care more of how it can actually benefit me. People tend to bash companies a lot for the way they create their products, but in reality it is also benefiting them financial. They get more recognition from negative comments rather than from positivity. This is in fact true because people avoid others success more than the failure that they had prior to it.

Should the Cybertruck design change?

Reporting Post

Recently, I had a discussion with my friend Salvador Martinez and whether or not the design should be changed. Personally, I thought that it was a good design because it gives out a futuristic look to it. It may be the beginning to a transformation to new set of looking cars. However, my friend thought otherwise. He stated that it looked like a car from a PlayStation 2 video game. He stated that car designs should start to have more color to it and have many internal changes. Also, he continued to say that they should not look boring or plain and simple because it does not grasp the attention of many people. I do not think that color matters most in a car because people do not really focus on that. The focus of cars should be on how they perform and should not be on how they look. I continued to say that now and days every car looks a like, but the Cybertruck looks like it can stand out in many communities all over the world. The truck is slightly reminiscent of the DeLorean from Back to the Future and that is why I really like the style. It gives out futuristic style that no other vehicle has shown before. Tesla was able to be brave enough to create a vehicle of this style because they would receive a lot of negativity. However, through the preorder sales it shows a totally different story with reaching 200,000 orders. My friend slightly agreed with what I said, but stuck with his opinion of the design. I recalled that Tesla would still make lots of sales and the product would succeed, despite the design. I would like to know how you may feel of the design, do you like it, does it deserve a change?

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
